For us at BEA, camp is more than an event for us. We see it as a community, an opportunity, a lifestyle, a place of formation - we see camp as a "family". WE laugh, sing, cry, share burdens, let go of sin (repent) and condemnation. Here we all (camper and counselor alike) receive our marching orders from the Holy Spirit as to how, what, when and where to tarry and carry the rivers of living water of our Lord Jesus Christ. We do not claim perfection, but we strive towards it. We do not claim to have all of life's answers but we are authentic. So, welcome to camp with BEA - an authentic environment where Jesus is Lord, saviour, king, priest and our friend.
How do we reach the world, the unsaved, the nominal believer, the lukewarm follower of the cross? We reach out!! Reaching out via deeds and words are our way of shining our light so bright that all men acknowledge and accept God as sovereign and Jesus as Lord and personal Saviour. We evangelize, minister powerfully in the available gifts of the Spirit as He bids us do.
At BEA, symposiums, seminars and conferences are platforms and expressions of ministry where we go into deep revelatory teaching of scripture as it relates to contemporary issues in an ever changing world. While sticking to doctrine and truth of scripture, we contextualize culture and scripture placing scripture above culture but also wary of the influence dispensations have on the individuals we are sent as apostles to. With a blend of contextual professionalism, and orthodox apostolic teaching we divide the line between truth and falsehood. Thus, presenting men and women mature in Christ as they live their lives professing faith in Him.
